Lafayette Grad Gifts

Each year Lafayette honors our high school senior graduates as a way to send them off with our love and support as they face their next steps in life. Obviously, this year has been a little different for all of us. We had hoped to be back together before most of them headed off to school this fall but that does not look like that’s going to happen.

For the last several years, we have given our grads a Bible in which Lafayette members have shared thoughts of encouragement, favorite passages, prayers, and other loving sentiments that grads can have for a lifetime to remember their Lafayette family and the impact so many have had on them during this time of their lives.

We want to still offer a way to do that. On Monday, July 27, Emma deSambourg, Ted Crigler, and I will be at the church building from 9:00am until 3:00pm. If you would like to stop by and write in one or all of the grad’s Bibles, we encourage you to do so. There will be a sanitation station set up with wipes and hand sanitizer for your use. You are asked to wear a mask while inside the building.

If you cannot be there Monday or are uncomfortable getting out, we would still encourage you to take a moment to encourage our grads. You can CLICK HERE to fill out a form (you need to fill out one for each graduate). We will take your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement and copy them onto labels and place them in the appropriate graduate’s Bible.

Thank you for encouraging and supporting our students at Lafayette as they grow and mature in Christ.
