Caring and Sharing is a ministry of the Lafayette Church of Christ devoted to helping members with financial needs through prayer, encouragement, financial counseling (budgeting, financial training, job placement assistance, and providing awareness about financial resources available in our community), and providing financial assistance.
Without a doubt, Jack Cooper has the gift of encouragement. It is not possible to spend time with him and not come away refreshed and encouraged. Jack is a retired CPA with a heart for helping people learn good stewardship practices. What a blessing it is to have Jack serving our church family in leading the Caring and Sharing ministry.
Greg Kiefer is Jack’s partner in the Caring and Sharing ministry. Greg has years of experience in coaching and encouraging people with financial needs. Greg has helped numerous people through leading the Financial Peace University classes. Greg has been able to help numerous people learn new skills in financial management which plays a vital role in the stewardship of life and possessions that Jesus wants us to practice. We are very thankful that Greg has a compassionate heart that enables him to be so effective in this ministry.
