Pastoral Care

The Lafayette elders and their wives and our preaching ministers take the lead in providing special pastoral care to both church members and church guests. This pastoral care can range from spontaneous trips to the hospital, to praying with members ahead of surgeries, to taking Communion to shut-ins, to providing meals for people in our church family with short-term needs. Though the Lafayette leaders directly oversee this area of service, there are nonstop opportunities for various servants/volunteers within the body to assist. Whenever possible, we try to make visitation information available to the body so anyone can stop by, see, and encourage their brothers and sisters.
