Lafayette is involved in the work of ACTS in a variety of ways, financial and otherwise. While from time to time Lafayette has Bible classes, small groups, retreats, and other gatherings, especially for young adults (including college students), we also value the intergenerational interaction provided by all meeting together.
We are thankful to join other areawide congregations in helping to sponsor the ACTS ministry, who work firsthand with college students at various universities in St. Louis. If you are unfamiliar with ACTS, check out the information below and click on their website:
ACTS (Association of Christian Truth-Seekers)
is a group of students from various colleges and universities around the St. Louis area, as well as college-aged Christians serving God in the workplaces of St. Louis. We’re glad you’re here visiting our site. We have prayed that people just like you would find our site and that it would be helpful in aiding you in your search for a relationship with Jesus. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Katie Halloway is the Campus Minister whose office is at the McKnight Crossings Church of Christ. Katie, with the help of her husband Trevor, lead this ministry that was led for more than 20 years by AJ Bennett.
Trent and Sarah Ruckman are Lafayette’s current representatives on the ACTS board as of December 2023, and are the point of contact for Lafayette.
